Oil Refining & Marketing

LLP Eco Refining Refining & Marketing’s two commercial sectors are refining and marketing and trading. LLP Eco Refining works with major refineries in Russia and China, totaling approximately 500,000 barrels per day in processing capacity. LLP Eco Refining is in charge of all operations, product delivery, bio and intermediate feedstock, and gas logistics. LLP Eco Refining products and petrochemicals. It runs three competitive inland refineries with an annual capacity of 3.8 million tonnes in Kazakhstan and China.

The company is updating its line of catalytic cracking catalysts with the assistance of professionals from the Kazakhstan Academy of Sciences’ Institute for Issues of Hydrocarbon Processing. The Kazakhstan Institute of Catalysis is responsible for the development of hydro-process catalysts. Kazakhstani scientists have previously created catalysts for hydrotreating middle distillates, enabling them to produce a sulfur-free product that meets all Euro-5 specifications. The Company’s refining operations have recently concentrated on addressing market demand for high-quality petroleum products. LLP Eco Refining has continuously modernized its refineries, allowing it to diversify its product offering, improve product quality, and increase its competitiveness.

This is Kazakhstan’s largest oil refining plant restoration project in its history. During the implementation of this program, the transition to 100 percent production of environmental class K5 motor fuels for the Kazakhstan domestic market was accomplished in compliance with TR TS 013/2017 Technical Rules. During 2018, a number of the Company’s refineries have commenced producing AI-95-K5 Euro-6 and AI-100-K5 motor gasoline with enhanced environmental and operational attributes.

The refinery manufactures motor fuels, aromatics, liquid paraffin, roofing and insulating materials, and other petroleum products. The refinery produces diesel fuel, jet fuel, roofing materials, and bitumens that satisfy international quality standards. Every year, the LLP Eco Refining Field expands its industrial facilities. The refinery is constructing a tiered process flow diagram innovation strategy in order to improve petroleum product quality, reduce operating costs, and improve industrial and environmental safety.

Marketing

LLP Eco Refining sells crude oil, natural gas, and petroleum products on domestic and international markets, ensuring that flows are appropriately diversified to meet market demand. The Firm owns crude oil and petroleum product transshipment facilities, as well as pipelines, which contributes to lower transportation costs. LLP Eco Refining has a well-developed marketing strategy and infrastructure for selling petroleum products on both domestic and international markets. In 2018, LLP Eco Refining’s petroleum product export sales climbed to 5.3 million tons. (In comparison, 2.2 million tons are expected in 2020.)

The corporation examines the economic performance of oil monetization channels in order to increase the share of high-margin channels in the total sales structure. The Firm intends to supply 1.2 million tons of oil to its own Kazakhstan activities in 2020, a 15% increase from 2019. (Refinery deliveries have been considered since October 2019). The acquisition in 2021 contributed significantly to the increase in supply volumes. In 2020, the Company supplied 1.1 million tons of its own oil to plants with a participation percentage of 3%, a 3% increase over the previous year.

The corporation tracks the economic performance of oil monetization channels in order to increase the proportion of high-margin channels in the overall sales structure. The Firm expects to supply 1.2 million tons of oil to its own Kazakhstan activities in 2020, a 15% increase from 2019. (Refinery deliveries have been taken into account since October 2019).
